Who do you hate rape victims Senator Joe?

Senator Joe Lieberman supports the approach of the Catholic hospitals when it comes to contraceptives for rape victims (as reported in The New Haven Register on 03/13/2006).

Lieberman said he believes hospitals that refuse to give contraceptives to rape victims for "principled reasons" shouldn't be forced to do so.
Can a lifeguard refuse to save Jews for "principled reasons"?
Can a male teacher refuse to teach girls because of "principled reasons"?
Can I state I wanted to kill the president because I have "principled reasons"?
Ay, in any other job you'd be fired if you didn't fulfill your job requirements. Yet, these rogue pharmacists can hide behind their twisted "morals". A pharmacy is NOT a church--keep your dogma where it belongs, out of MY business and out of MY crotch.
The job of the pharmacist is to dispense medicine, not ideology.

"In Connecticut, it shouldn't take more than a short ride to get to another hospital," Lieberman said.

Hhmm, so at 3am...its easy to hail a cab? And with what money? If a rape victim has no money, then they are forced to walk to another hospital under your diabolic reasoning.
Since you will never be in this situation, Joe Lieberman....please explain how its easy to think clearly enough after a rape to ask for directions to another hospital.

Ok, let's mapquest this:
From New Haven- next hospital is 1.37 miles; about a 27 minute walk.
From Hartford- 2.43 miles; about a 49 minute walk.
Those are just the first two cities I could think of.

Joe Lieberman...you are not receiving my support because you do not support women. In the United States, 1 in 3 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime.

You do not support rape victims. You support forced pregnancy of rape victims, and for that: You are going to hell with gasoline drawers.
