Thank God You Have A Penis

On tonight's episode of "Thank God You're Here", Fran Drescher walks into her skit, where she is supposed to introduce herself to the governor. At the table is a man and a woman.

Yep, she walks straight to the man and says "hello governor". The woman stands and says that she is in fact the governor.

I found myself really fuming over this, although I don't know why I'm surprised. It's actually indicative of society's lack of women in positions of power, not to menion government representation. Because if equality actually existed, we wouldn't be so quick to assume that the man HAS to be the governor. Couldn't possibly be the woman!
