An Unwanted Pregnancy, a Desperate Woman and a Gun

A Suffolk judge has dismissed a charge of inducing an abortion against a 22-year-old woman who shot herself in the abdomen, killing the fetus.

Tammy Skinner was charged with producing an abortion or miscarriage, a felony, but that charge was dropped today. Skinner was found guilty of filing a false police report, but got a suspended sentence.

After giving conflicting stories after the incident in February, Skinner admitted that her wound was self-inflicted. She is the mother of two other children. Family members had said she had been depressed.

The judge dismissed the abortion charge based on Skinner's attorney's arguments that the same law had been tried and dismissed under similar circumstances in both Florida and Georgia.

This should be a wake up call of what happens when a woman does not want to be a mother.

Women need to full access to abortion services.

Women in 3rd world countires die everyday because they do not have access to abortion and resort to drastic measures. Such as shooting yourself in the stomach.

Soon, women will be dying in large numbers in OUR country if we do not stop the Reich from taking away our liberties.
