Sterilizing Hypocrite

Parental consent is the holy grail of wedges for anti-abortion activists.
The idea of young women terminating their pregnancies without their parent's involvement is paramount to them.

Yet, anti-choicer Senator Dr. Tom Coburn has admitted to sterilizing underage girls without their parent's permission.

"I've done this lots to women who have come in with emergency things who have asked me to sterilize them, underage. When they've already had three babies" says Coburn, a physician.

This is the same man who advocated the death penalty for abortion providers.

Never mind that he has provided abortions.

This viper sterilized minor girls!

These sterilizations were not performed because their lives were in danger, it was because they didn't want more children. Maybe not at 16, but what about when they are 29?

Who is this man to completely bypass her parents, yet supports government-mandating parental involvement laws?

Hypocrite.

These girls could very well end up regretting this decision for the rest of their lives. Yet, he didn't care. But he seems to care that minor girls may regret making abortion decisions.

He took away their ability to have children. All before they had a drivers license.

His campaign to kill abortion providers is insane, expecially because these doctors perform abortions on adult women--capable of making their OWN decisions.

What is fascinating is that The Reich loves to judge and condemn, yet when it comes down to it--it never applies to them.

Parents should be involved! (Except when I'm sterilizing your daughter, of course)
Marriage needs to be defended! (But we are all divorced...so what?)
I'm "pro-life"! (Except when I get pregnant, but I'll be picketing again tomorrow)
Sex outside the "marriage boundary is a sin! (Except when I do it)
