Know what I'm tired of?

The media refusing to acknowledge that certain remarks of late are sexist.

Now, we all know they have been racist. Mel Gibson't anti-semetic remarks were atrocious. But why did they media strategically omit the nasty crap he said to the female officer? They may have mentioned it in passing, but the focus was only on the other racial slurs. Let's not forget he called the woman officer "sugar tits".

And now Imus. Yes, racist remarks were made. That alone should be enough to take his white supremist ass to the cleaners. Yet, no mention of how offensive and degrading it is to call women "hoes".

Just screw off. This is a perfect example of institutional sexism and no one is willing to say or do anything about it. Ignorance is bliss.

And for the ignorant, it is sexist because no men's team has EVER been criticized or reported on for anything other than their talent on the court. They are judged by their merit, yet these girls were not. They were attacked for being women...but most especially, black women. The double-whammy factor, ya'll.

When women are involved they get reduced to objects, regardless of their accomplishments. An example would be how women are consistently and obssessively asked how they "balance" their careers and home lives. Take Nancy Pelosi. She was asked this. Did anyone ever ask Gingrich this? DeLay? ANY MAN???
