I Heart New York

Astoria, Queens is home to perhaps the only homeless shelter in New York spefically for for transgendered youth.

This is an outrage! Already we have The Hate House claiming to veto any hate bill legislation that would include sexual orientation, schools that exclude gays from admittance and homosexuals having alarmingly high suicice rates.

Wake up folks. Gay people are here. And they are our neighbors who deserve the same dignity, respect and SAFETY as the rest of us.
