Rape Threats: The New Trend?

Threats of rape are NEVER ok. Threats of rape are NEVER ok. Threats of rape are NEVER ok.

All you anti-woman misgoynists, listen up. Sexual violence does not make you a man. It does not make you anything except a predator.

A reader sent in this horrible radio clip today (warning: it is REALLY offensive) and I am truly sickened. Some of it is just awful, with talk about beating Condoleeza in the face while "holding her down".

I may not agree with Condaleeza Rice's or Laura Bush's politics, at all, but under no circumstances would I think it is OK to threaten them with sexual violence. What is up with all the verbal rape threats to women lately? Is this some kind of paranoid misogynist trend because so many (in reality, not that many) women are gaining access to power?
