Attention All Lesbos: Your Turkey Basters Are in the Alley

Republican lawmakers drafted new legislation in 2005 that will make marriage a requirement for motherhood in the state of Indiana, including specific criminal penalties for unmarried women who do become pregnant "by means other than sexual intercourse."

According to a draft of the recommended change in state law, every woman in Indiana seeking to become a mother through assisted reproduction therapy such as in vitro fertilization, sperm donation, and egg donation, must first file for a "petition for parentage" in their local county probate court.

Only women who are married will be considered for the "gestational certificate" that must be presented to any doctor who facilitates the pregnancy. Further, the "gestational certificate" will only be given to married couples that successfully complete the same screeningprocess currently required by law of adoptive parents.

Can someone please explain how someone would know how a woman actually became pregnant? I mean, are they suggesting that in vitro will become a shady black market situation where you meet in an alley and spread your legs while some sweaty man inserts a turkey baster into your vagina? Fun times.

And since lesbians are denied the right to marriage, this is a slap in the face to loving, monogomous lesbian couples who want a family.

Cause they aren't good parents, you know. Just ask the state, since they place children in gay homes and all.

And let's not forget how single women are punished in this idiotic law.
If single women can't be trusted as mothers, then when will they begin rounding up all the children of single mothers? When will they stop placing foster children in single homes--if they are so horrible?

Does the legislation include single men?

And what is this criminal penalty crap?

Wow, women are punished in a variety of ways when they do NOT want a child and abort, now we go to jail when we ACTUALLY want one.

Ridiculous Reich: Void of Logic.
