The FDA: As Infected As Virginity Pledgers' Genitals
Former FDA commissioner Mark McClellan on June 13 is scheduled to testify in a lawsuit attempting to force the government to allow nonprescription sales of Barr Laboratories' emergency contraceptive Plan B, the Long Island Newsday reports.
McClellan was proceeded by Lester Crawford, whose confirmation was blocked by Senators Clinton and Murray. It was only after the FDA promised to make a decision did the Senators lift their block. We have yet to see that answer.
And as we all know the Worm Crawford is supposedly pleading the fifth during his testimony.
Attorneys plan to question McClellan about an FDA staff member's memo that says an agency official who worked under McClellan thought nonprescription sales of Plan B would lead to teen "sex-based cults".
