AIDS: 25 Years Later

Every race, religion, sex, creed, culture, age, sexual orientation, geographical location, class, ethnicity is victim to the pandemic that has claimed 25 million lives.

Aids does not discriminate.

Women account for half of the infection rate. This is due to oppression, poverty, child brides in Africa, Bush's abstinence agenda here and abroad, lack of access to medical services, the belief that women are property and can be used at any disposal, rape and rape as a tool of war...just to name a few. The list of why is so overwhelming, it is unbearable.

The answer from the US to combat this deadly disease?
Abstinence.
Not condoms...even in marriage.
Yea, that makes sense.
It also doesn't help the child bride in sub-sahara Africa who is a virgin, where it is thought that an infected man who sleeps with a virgin will be "cleansed" of the disease.
In the United States, AIDS is the leading cause of death for African American women between the ages of 25 and 34.
Aaahh, yes...institutional racism, which snowballs into poverty, which in turn forces women to rely on government-subsidized medical services...of course, King George has slashed this funding and allows states to refuse poor women access to reproductive services.
King George's morality is killing millions of people, and not just in Iraq folks.
President George W. Bush is a serial killer.
