Episcopalian leader causes stir...guess what, it's a woman

The new leader of the Episcopalian Church is a woman and in her televised speech on Mondayshe proclaimed that "all are welcome here" speaking about gays, minorities and those with dissenting views.

She even broke from the hijacked mentality of the country and said "Homosexuality is not a sin".

Word.

Nevada Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori is my hero of the day.

The minority zealots of the Episcopalian Church are continuing to threaten to leave the group, just as they did when the church ordained an openly gay man. Oh, the horror.

Finally, another mainstream church has stood up against hate, intolerance and interfering in the lives of those outside the church. The United Church of Christ has publicly done so, as has the United Methodist Church. More churches need to follow, letting The Reich know that they are tired of being bullied around and forced to follow their supremist morality that is out of touch with America.
