As of May 22, 2006, if a hypothetical 2008 presidential election were held, John McCain would beat Hillary Clinton, 49 percent to 38 percent, with 13 percent unsure.
McCain currently also beats Al Gore, 51 percent to 33 percent.
If Hillary Clinton were running against Jeb Bush, though, she'd win 51 percent to 35 percent.
