Lying Bigots: The Store Formerly Known as Macy's

Macy's sucks ass. When Macy's caved to pressure from the fundie, homophobic, Taliban group MassResistance/Article 8, it removed the display of supposed "gay mannequins" and a Macy's spokeswoman said: "We believe in diversity, and our customers are very important to us. But [the display] did offend a few of our customers, and we had to reexamine it."

Now, after receiving thousands of letters and emails at their obvious take-it-in-the-ass, Macy's is now lying and trying to backtrack.

Ron Klein, chairman and chief executive officer of Macy’s East, now states: "“When the controversy arose over the content of our display, the decision was made to maintain the display with no change" and that the mannequins were pulled due to “miscommunication”.

Um, right.
