South Dakota Doctors Speak Out

South Dakota State Medical Association is speaking out against the state's woman-hating abortion ban, that has no excpetions for rape or incest.

Leaders of the doctors group said the legislation could impede their ability to make sound medical decisions for their pregnant patients.

"Medical decisions should be left to doctors and patients, not politicians in Pierre," said Dr. Marvin Buehner of Rapid City, a co-chair for the South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families, a group that opposes the ban.
