Another Abstinence "Hoe" Down

The Abstinence Clearinghouse is holding their annual Leadership Conference, and this year's theme is amazing...if only because it completely reveals just how backwards they are.

As you can see from the ridiculous image above, Abstinence is a Black & White Issue: Purity vs. Promiscuity. There's no in-between, folks.

So, you're either pure, or you're a whore. Nice unoriginal virgin/whore dichotomy.

I wonder: what about these so-called reclaimed virgins? Are they still whores? Or are they pure now because they "promise" to remain chaste? Cause if its as simple as black and white...

Don't forget that research had repeatedly proven that over 88% of "virginity pledgers" have premarital sex anyway.

What a waste. Why spend so much time and energy on something that is proven to fail? Kinda like the MISadministration's forced ideology of abstinence-only education.

And WHY is it only a woman on the advertisement??? Yea, only women hold the responsibility of being pure or promiscuous. Men don't have these standards applied to them. Men can just screw all they want and with whomever they want and need not worry about being "promiscuous". It is a completely gender-specific term.
